Sleeping with the enemy
I was bored yesterday so I went to the local Honda dealership and test drove a new 2006 S2000 to see whats so special about it. I pretty much knew all the details of the vert honda but had never driven one. It kinda surprised me though. It drove very similarly to the 8, from its high revving nature to the overall powerband. The clutch was a little stiffer, the shifter was pretty smooth yet still clunky when compared to rx8 short shifter. Interior was more livable than I had expected, didnt like the dash though, too cheap looking considering the $34,000 pricetag. In the end I liked it, but im not trading in the 8 anytime soon.

Covertible - s2000
Hardtop sport coupe - rx8
simple as that. The s2000 is a roadster, the rx8 is a pratical sportscar, both for price and features. If you wanna put the roof down, get the s2000.

Nothing looks better than an S2000, top down, on a warm summer's night.

Yes it is. A few tenths of a second is a huge gap and would destroy a rx8 on the dragstrip! Thus, the rx8 is inferior and Mazda should discontinue it. You obviously don't know anything about sports cars.

Aaaaah, yes, now I see. My 8 is 1/10 of a second from being the most superior car in the world. So that's how to rate cars. Looks, quality, ride, feel, price, responsiveness, smoothness, class, and uniqueness don't matter I guess.
