Poor design.

Racing Beat put a lot of time into preventing this.

Re-check the install. Make sure everything is tight.

Re my Intake system

Thanks for you replys guys.....

That intake kit did not actualy come with instructions, but i tried to do as much home work as possible!!!

After driving my car then having another look under the hood i found that of of the pipe actually come off the crome intake pipe!!! So i think im going to buy some clips tomorrow to tighten every thing down really tight, Well the kit should have already come with some as the stock intake did not have any attached...

Plese have a look at the following pic's as i think i installed every thing correctly...

Ps. sorry the pic are not the best but you get the picture

RE update..

I have had a look at the intake and i have found no faults and what may be consided as a fault by the installations process... iv notice now one i take the car over 7000RPM there is a vibration but not major any more... i do have an exaust system on the car but it has the stanard calitlic converter... would this be the issue..

Should it be a high flow???

There's a reason why most Simota intakes end up in the for sale group. You never see people get rid of their Racing Beat intake except when the lease is up and they have to return the car.

I agree that the Simota intakes have a deservedly poor reputation here.

I see they aren't using the CF air box anymore. Are they supplying any screens with it?

I think it's an option now... I consistently see 3-4 whp gains with my K&N Gen II, mostly in the upper range. Thats on a Dynapak 3000.

Why not just put a pod in the box? You'd probably get the same results!
