Silver things on the black vent behind front wheels

Ive seen a few 8s with 2 little silver things on each side that I think look pretty cool. What are these, and what option allows me to get them?

Thanks

My 2004 RX-8 has them. As far as I know, they came as part of a factory appearance option on the GT.

The strakes are extra, above and beyond what is called the appearance package. The latter only contains the front air dam and the side flairs.

Check the vender forums for people that make them and sell them cheaper than Madza
