I was thinking of getting this combination. Does anybody have it??

Also will mazda make mor two tone choices??, such as Blue/black or yellow/black

 

i was really close to getting the titanium/black color combo, instead i chose the blue/black. i love both equally. i think the red can look nice at first, but i'm afraid of what it will look like years down the road.

to answer your question though, i like the silver/black the best. the red interior looks best on a red car.

 

I've seen the silver with red/black interior...it's nice. Personally, I'm partial to the titanium gray with red/black interior

 

red/black leather looks nice, even in silver.

I have black/black in my silver. Sometimes I wish I had the two tone.

 

The two tone interiors are the best, my personal preference is what I have - Titanium/Black/Red. If you want blue/black or yellow/black there are customer aftermarket interiors. Do a search.

 

I just saw a couple of pictures of the car you described, njcs. I'm not sure if they were posted tonight, or someone added to an old thread that had those pictures. I'll post a pointer if I see them again. That combo makes the RX-8 a very tastefully understated sportscar.

 

For Silver I would stay with Black/Black.

Was leaning towards Red/Black for Velocity Red, but I would have to say it doesn't look quite as good in person as the pics. In person, the Red leather just looks a bit "faded", and that look would only get worse with time. So, I will probably go with Black/Black instead.

 

i saw silver with black leather in jasonhamilton car and it is sweet. i liked the red/black at first but since i saw his i think i will go will all black mad props jason

 

I have the Ti with red / black and think it is great. I considered the silver with red / black and saw that in person - looked great as well, i just though the Ti gray was classier looking - more depth to the color.

the red / black interior, imho, looks best with the black, silver or ti exterior - more of a contrast vs. the red exterior.

I struggled w/ the red & black or just all black. I chose the red & black and love it!! I've got nothing but compliments on it. Everyone seems to really like it. It's a fun car, might as well get a fun interior too.

I just didn't like the black red interior on any other car but red. I had my choice of the black, or black/red combo when i picked up my Black rx8. It just didn't look right to me in any other color but red. It all depends on your personality. If you want a flash interior, then obviously go with the combo. if you want a straight up, luxury looking interior, go with the all black.

I think that the red/black interior compliments the silver exterior very well.
