Shinka Dyno'ed...
...My local performance shop guy just called me and said that they just got their DYNo machine and had someone up there in a SHinka RX8 dyno 205 to the wheels.
shinka213, was this you?

Right - it's entirely possible that this car is making the HP it's 'supposed' to, or 'promised to' make; This car and the Silver which dyno'd with us.
the OTHER 98% of us should be beating down Mazda's door for answers.

Damn. 205whp. I know my car does not have anywhere near that. Mine feels about the average 180whp range. I can't believe the discrepency between RX8s. We've also seen ones dyno'ing at only 170whp.

Could it be possible that the discrepancy is due to one simple equipment in our cars such as MAF sensor or 02 sensor? I wish someone would do careful comparison between stock cars' parts: one with 180HP and the other 205HP.

I'm hoping to do some experiments at the next dyno day - but was thinking it'd be an ecu-swap. Frankly, the maf swap would be easy too...
