She comes home tomorrow.....

Picking up my 8 tomorrow. Went and looked at it last friday and agreed to purchase pending compression test results. Had the test performed this morning and the results are in:

200' above sea level; rotor 1: 8.1, 7.8, 7.7 @249RPM. Rotor 2: 8.0, 7.6, 7.9 @ 245RPM.

Car is a 2007 M6 GT, blk/blk, everything but nav, 18k miles, original owner, garaged, summers only, all documentation (oil changed every 2250mi +/-), dealer serviced. Purchased new 8/20/07, so I have about 7mos remaining of the original 5/60 warranty.

Looking forward to it!

That's a great looking car, man. Appears to have been nicely kept.

The sunroof deflector and the strakes? Skadoosh.

Thanks guys, it really is practically showroom condition. Owner was a fanatic. I was either going to find one this clean and well documented, or I wasn't buying one at all.

Yes, the wind deflector will be off within moments of pulling into my garage.

She looks like a keeper. Only thing I would do is get some oil-cooler screens. Racingbeat.com makes them. Well that's where i got mine from and they aren't to bad to install if you want to do it your self.

Very clean. I would be removing the strakes but that's just me.

Strakes will likely go. She'll be garaged till probably mid-April, so i'll have plenty of time to stare at her and figure out if I like them or not. Unless she's under the Noah car cover i'll be ordering today.

Looks like a fantastic buy. Super-clean. If it was mine I'd debadge it and paint the front and rear rotor accents black Enjoy!

Well, it's official. She is registered and in my garage. I can't believe how good the previous owner was about hanging onto everything related to the car. Things like the unused 'zoom-zoom' sticker, to the tags that dealers put on the keys, to the air bag lable that hung from the glove box, the window sticker, the DVD, a 2007 sales brochure, the letter from Mazda regarding the 96/100 core warranty, every single service invoice from the dealer.......everything! I love that.

Sounds like you found a good one. It's great when people actually care about their car and take good care of it!
