saving for a RX8
saving for a RX8
after looking through these forums, and articles and reviews about the RX-8 I have decided to save up for one. I am getting rid of the Bimmer this june, and start saving for a RX8. All the discussions, and my dad's tale about his rx-7 have persuaded me to get one.
But I have to save up till around February to get one, so its going to be a long few months
. Till then I will be driving the ooooold, family 97 plymouth van with 280k miles on it.

Be prepared for maintenance/gas costs. Also make sure you are careful about the 8 that you buy (im assuming you are buying used).. make sure compression is good and the previous owner actually took care of it.
anywho, Welcome!

That's going to be a very long couple of months! I had to wait a week to pick mine up while it was detailed/plated/etc and it felt like the day was never going to come!
Welcome to the club! Post pictures when you pick it up!

its no rx7 in terms of power (fd) but it handles just as good if not better. It inspires you to push the car harder around corners, just be careful in the rain if its your first rwd car.
