Rx8 Wrecked, Withdrawal Symptoms

I spun out sideways into a curb+tree the week before last, so my 05 MT RX8 is at the dealership, they haven't even assessed the damage to it yet, so I can guess I'm at least 2 weeks from seeing my precious again.

I'm in a Kia Sportage SUV right now... Jesus.

I'm feeling pretty much constantly troubled at the fact that I can't ride my trusty steed, argh!

I need to be talked down!

Yes, I'm a fool for trying to blip my throttle coming out of the turn in 2nd...but I'm seriously thinking there must have been something off with the car.

You are correct. there was something wrong with the car.

A nut behind the wheel..

Ha ha... unfortunately I put my bet on the RX8 and it was caused by driver error.

Sorry to hear what happened. It's a bad way to learn a lesson.

Take some instructions at the local track. Then keep the speed there. Much safer and cheaper than racing on the street.

that sucks man... i have a similar story. I had a 00 Prelude and went 75mph around a 35 and the car hit the side of the road... popped out sideways and did three barrel rolls into trees/brush 20 ft off the road

I think you should just keep the Kia till your a better driver. You have done this before and didn't change the way you drive.

Take a driving course.

Or just learn that punching it in the wet is a bad idea.
