Fallowed one home today, and on the highway the viper was bouncing very much.
Great looking car, but seemed too uncomfortable to live with.
Tires looked too big for the car.

i love that look on the viper it's a big muscular car. the huge tires... it kinda needs thoughs the car has 500hp stock. check this site out, it made me think about getting rid of the 8 and buying a used viper coupe as my next car.

I remember reading a thread on a viper forum or a super car forum where a twin turbo viper blue the engine at the 1/8th mile and coasted to a 10.5 second run or something.

This thread is useless without pics... So I present you - the Rx-8 vs. the Viper. (note - this was 3 days after I purchased my car - so she was completely modless)

 

this past weekend at the track there was a guy driving a viper in my class. One corner in the track required you to gas it as you were coming around to keep the back end planted. He came around gassing it too much and spun out hard. He then proceeded to hit the wall with his rear drivers side quarter panel and cracked the fiberglass panel all the way into the trunk. He also flatspotted all 4 tires.

I made it around without any problems with my foot to the floor.

RX8 pwns Viper.

 

My manager has a supercharged viper he drives to work all most very day.
His exhaust comes out the side... and if you have the windows down in traffic its very nasty smelling and hot.
The car is veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyy fast.

 

vipers are pretty hardcore, alot of vipers came without power accessories or ac and radio, i dont know about the new ones, but the old ones were one of my fav cars

 

This is the only car than beat my RX8. hehe

 

You obvoiusly have never seen/raced one of THESE bad boys!

actually it would be lack of driver skill and the fact that the v10 in those cars puts out enough torque to pull stumps at ridiculously low rps

I dont like how the viper sounds, I think its one of the worst sounding engines, exhaust etc, car. Sounds respy and shity. IMO
