Is the Rx8 supposed to start like this?

Went to the dealer today. One of the guys came out and cranked it, and it did what it always does. He said it's completely normal. It's a normal characteristic of the RX8 to take 4-5 turns before it cranks. It cranks basically the same as either of the videos jason posted here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhxi6uw3go4
and here

Thoughts?

negatory. That was my next step but I didn't want to throw out the money if it wasn't needed.
I mentioned coils and plus, and also mentioned that other rx8 owners that I knew had told me it wasn't normal. He still insisted it was completely normal for a rotary since it needs a lot of fuel to crank.

also, the maker or the vid above said these.
"its mean its almost end of ignition colis , change it as fast as u can , coz i had problem with it then "rotory engine specialist" says i havnt got compression in my engine , and told me that i have to pay L4000 for change engine , then iginition coli and 3 of them were broken specialist is from Coventry @ Foleshill rd"

I see. Where do you guys get coils from? I noticed BHR doesn't carry them.

BHR sells an aftermarket system using Yukon coils, which have been highly praised by the community. If you want to stay with OEM coils, then there are quite a few vendors here that sell them. Expect to pay in the neighborhood of $120-180 for a set of OEM coils.

Yea I saw the ignition system he's got on there but that's 500 bucks I'm not willing to part with at the moment. The rest is just plugs and wires, no coils. I guess I'll find them elsewhere. I'm guessing I shouldn't go with the $25 coils from advance? :|
