maybe you should read the whole thread before making an irrelevant anti-AT claim. I'M the one with the AT. and I'M the one who ISN'T having a problem. His problem is while reving up in neutral from 0.8k to 1.5k.

speaking of motor mounts....are there a difference between the ones for the AT and MT, or are they both the same?

No offense to others, but 04's arent bad. They weren't that bad. I have one it and it runs perfectly. Look, as long as you take the 04 version to the garage and get it checked you are fine. Don't believe other's when they say 04's are terrible.

They are only bad if they have pretty high mileage.

my car is in the shop as we speak for the same problem. i had a problem under 1000rpm i didnt think much of it but took it in anyway. Both my motor mounts were cracked. mazda will fix no problem

Thanks for that I was just going to be nice and not try to flame the guy but you took care of it.

So the motor mounts are probably cracked? How much is that costing you to fix?

nothing the extended waranty will cover it. and mazda is giving me a Mazda5 to drive around. only one was bad but the guy said that he was going to milk them for the other if your replacing one might as well change the other.
