Rx8 stalls when hot and won't fire till cool.

Hi, having some issues with my rx8. It's a 2004 6 speed. I have rebuilt the motor. Deleted the cat. Upgraded the entire ignition system. Battery starter coils plugs wires. Deleted secondary air pump and a/c system. Also installed a fan controller kit. Engine starts runs and warms up good but after driving for a while the idle gets rough and when I press in the clutch the rooms drop low and sometimes the engine stalls. After it stalls it won't start till it cools off again. I know this seems like a classic case of low compression but I have compression tested it and front rotors at 91psi average and rears at 90 average. So that should be ok. My question is is there anything else that can cause these symptoms besides low compression? And tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

90psi average is failing compression.. depending on rpm of the measurement, but especially with a new starter. Also if that's the average but one face is 100 and the others are 85, that's also not great.

How did you test the compression? Agree, sounds low especially with a new starter.

Sorry to hear that. These are very fun cars to own but anytime they fail it’s not fun or cheap.
