it's not a quarter mile car, but it is fast in the twisties and easy enough to get sidways--plenty fast for me

they don't break down if you take care of them....search around and you will see

that slow? how slow is "that slow"? If you're asking if my car is as fast as it is, then yes it is. Surprisingly enough, my car isnt faster than my car.

Yes, the car does break eventually. Most cars aren't reliable enough to last forever. In fact, I dont think any cars are. So if you want a car that will never break, you're out of luck.

If you cant find these kinds of answers by looking around on your own, you might not be able to handle the maintenance such as checking to make sure your car isnt out of oil.

OP - Very clever name. When you ask "does your car really drive like an oversized dresser?" on the mustang forums, I bet your name is "Mustang"

in stock form, it's a quick car, but it's not a fast car. It helps that the vehicle is not 4,000 lbs. People too often look at only whp and ignore lbs. You only have to look at an Elise to see what's possible with a light enough chassis.

It's probably hard to call it fast in a country where your granny has a 5.7 litre hemi in her wagon. But take a trip to some twisting roads, I've been very surprised when I looked down at the speedo after taking turns at ridicilous speeds and not even being close to losing grip.

I think people try to view the RX8 as a true sports car and their expectations are too high when they drive it.
For a 1.3L engine with no forced induction... its still a quick car considering!

An na rotary is weak, its not intended to be fast in a straight line.

Thats why they were put in perfectly balanced cars, because they are for turns.

Wtf is with all these new threads about the RX8 being so good? We should make one to sum up that the RX8 is garbage. It's slow, looks terrible, and breaks all the time. That's the reason we all have on here. Now gtfo OP.

Its certainly not fast in stock form, but it handles well. Its less dependable than say a Honda, but its not gunna break down for no reason. Treat the car right and it will last a long time.

Good god, yes it are slow! I got the damn car 13 months ago and I still haven't made it home from the dealership yet.

And yes, it brakes down all the time. In fact, every time I push the brake pedal, the stupid car brakes down.

All your brakes are belong to us.
