RX8 Performance
I own a 2005 RX8 stick and just recently attended a performance driving school in Virginia. What an amazing handling car when you get it out on a track for 25 minutes running it hard with an instructor. The Rx8 can't take the Porsches' Vettes but it can corner with the best of them. All RX8 owners should try this you have no idea the handling of your car until you do. What a blast.

Could you Explain the course and how it was setup and what you were asked to do?
Was it more like a AutoX course or a figure eight shaped course with curves and straight aways?
Did test Braking, speed shifting, how to take a curve, when to power through it and when to down shift and swing through with.
Did it show how to build speed coming out of a corner?
What was the purpose of the course to test the car or the driver?

I believe you could obtain the same knowledge at auto-x's. I say this because you're in the car by yourself, learning on your own. I learn easier that way than having an instructor. Keep track of your times, then you'll know you're getting better. But I wouldn't mind trying out a school. Just stating another way you can learn your car - keeping it legal.
