RX8 Oil Light Warning

I have been driving around on the highway and every like 20 minutes the oil light will come on for like a minute then go right back off. I have checked it numerous times, and the amount is fine. Has anyone else had this problem ... what could it posisbly be.??????

More than likely it's the known oil pan problem described in this service bulletin:

Low Oil Level Light Comes On When Level Is Not Low

Just go to the dealership and they will replace it free of charge since it was one of the defects that came out early in the year.

Why does the service bulletin say oil level spec is a quarter above L on the dipstick? Isn't that weird? So L is in fact below spec.

Same deal....replaced oil pan per tsb...... never seen oil light again.
Keep oil level between 1/2 way and full on dip stick.
Good luck
