Is there a site to get some easy/cheap mods to do for 8's? I just got mine, not ready to start doing performance things yet, just little things like Clear corners, maybe some exhaust to give it some umph.

I know I know I should search, but I tried searching for "Clear Corners" not sure if I'm even talking about the same thing I'm thinking of. The side reflectors behind the headlights-ish.

Anyway, I appreciate the help if it's given, otherwise I apologize but at the same time give a very sturdy F U, if you tell me to search >.<

just don't expect the umph from the exhaust to actually give you umph. It'll sound like it does though

Oh no, not looking for a real power gain, I've already read enough of these forums to see that RX-8's aren't about power gains unless you want to go FI.

Yeah. I was looking for more stuff like decals and Clear corners, small things like that. I also plan on doing some exhaust soon, what is the typical setup people generally use?

 

I don't know if you want to make a pre-"F U" for people like me too, but I think I speak for many when I say

DON'T GEYT DECALS, THEY ARE STUPID AND RICEY AND CLUTTERED.

Haha. I was thinking Decals for the Brake Calibers and the RX8 Club decal...and the third tail light one.

I use to drive a Camaro, then moved into a Trans Am, making fun of ricers and rolling on the floor laughing at 90% of them was my life on Friday and Saturday nights.

I know what to stay away from, I just wanted a few things to make my 8 stand out more than it already does, but in a good way. Not just people notice it, but that they also notice how much I like my 8!

By the way, Transition from a TA to an 8, I honestly can say I have no regrets. I give props to mazda o.O...First car I've owned that when I get out lock it up and walk away I always turn back and do a double take.

Annnnnnnnnnyway. As far as decals go I think I'm set. As for exhaust, I was thinking of getting a new mid-pipe and muffler, I heard Borla makes a decent sounding exhaust system, but I wanted input from people that have tried others

definetly get some clear corners. also look to get some racing beat screens for you radiator and oil coolers. if any thing it forces you to take off your front and you get to learn more about your car.

as for exhaust just search around here for sound clips or try to meet people locally to hear the sound in real life.

ya man that really is not how things are done around here. instead of us having to answer every question a million times we make it easy. the search button really is a very unbeatable tool to have. so to the man who says he will give me a sturdy F U i sayi give you sturdy search button... cuz your gonna use the hell out of it.
ya i agree no decals... ricey... ugh. makes me think of all the times i have seen people make jokes about how their decals added some hp.

 

Is there some F U virus going around? There seems to be a lot of these types of posts lately.
