the rpms are kool but they make less torque than a 1st gen miata

 

I think that if you want hi revs and fun you just have to do a Pport renesis 300hp 10,500 rpms, or go wild and do a 3 rotor Pport

if I where to put a busa engine on a car it would be a miata

kinda boring to watch. but there it goes..

 

I am currently swapping in a zx12 engine in an rx8, not for the hp, but for the sequential 6speed. 12.5 redline... I like rev's... What can I say. So to everyone concerned with HP figures... Stay in ya magazines.

P.S. I'm also installing the same setup in a gutted 95 eagle talon, (mid engine) not sure what the end weight will be, but I believe as it sits, 1800-2100 lbs. And yes, the talon will be my daily driver, and the rx8 is going to be a give-away for a child abuse organization. Be on the lookout for that raffle...
