God brutally punished my car last friday night coming back home from LA, I was about 70 miles outside of Las Vegas at about midnight when with no warning a violent hail storm beat the crap out of my car, every car on the road came to a dead stop, could see anything in front of us when hail just smaller then golf ***** wrecked havoc. for the next 10 minutes i thought the world was going to end lol. Im just glad my windshield held up and didnt break. On the down side my car was left with hundreds of small dents all over the car. I almost cried. Not sure if my insurance will cover this but i sure hope so, im going to take it to be looked out tomarrow to get an estimate of the damages.

Insurance will cover it unless you do not have comprehensive coverage. Don't settle for anything less than a complete repaint and it's going to be a bondo-mobile. It should be perfect, however.

Hailstorms can be horrific. The only really terrible one I've been through I was inside the house, and that was pretty terrifying. I can only imagine sitting in my 8 and picturing it folding in around me.
Yes, your comp insurance will cover that, but repairs ain't gonna be easy and ain't gonna be cheap. I'd get the best "paintless dent repair" guy you can find to take out the worst of the damage. Many of the dings won't need any Bondo. Good luck!!

Paintless dent repair. Excellent choice! Had the same thing happen to our midnight blue Toyota. The tech counted 47 dents. There were two that he couldn't get all of the way out at one of the creases on the hood. You had to look at it very closely at just the right angle to see it. One of the franchises here is "Dent Wizard". Highly recommended.

Agreed paint less dent removal is the way to go. You don't want to break the seal of the paint unless you have to. I had several dents removed from the aluminum hood and it looks like new. Be sure the guy doing the work knows the hood and two rear doors are aluminum, they are harder to work with then steel.

I never knew that the hood and rear doors were aluminum. That makes sense. I always wondered why the hood was so light for the size.
