RX8 is gone by Friday. TSX is my replacement
Just took advantage of the crazy deals Acura is having for their TSX's. I will be returning the RX8 back to Mazda this Friday.
Just bought a pearl white 08 Acura TSX with NAV. Acura cut a check for $6000.00 to buy out the remainder 12 month lease on the RX8. Scored a 1.9% lease rate which works out to be $50.00 less per month than I pay for the 8. I am happy with this deal.
Why did I buy a TSX???????
The main reason and the most important one for me is fuel consumption. Hands down Honda cars kick *** with their fuel economy. The RX8 was also my daily driver and now I plan to start a family. The TSX provides me with a bit more room including the 4 doors and large trunk space. The TSX also provides the best bang for the buck in car tech features.
The TSX performance is okay, adequate at best. With a little bit of mods, could get it to be pretty peppy. The 8's performance was nice too, but could never justify the fuel it dumps when you intend to have fun with it.
All in all, im pretty happy with the swap and I will miss the great read's on this forum for so many years.
I am a rotary fan and I’m going to miss the RX8 and the rotary engine as I also had an RX7 once upon a time too........
If anybody knows of a good TSX group/forum I would greatly appreciate it!

if u want Fuel Econ u should've got the Honda FIT.
Yeah yeah its not as nice as the TSX of course. the 09 version is pretty sweet tho, if u wait, u can get it under 20K in a few months, after that u can use the extra money to *luxury* it. ppl in Japan wow ... freaking crazy about it.
Oh well, Good luck with ur ride

Don't forget the VTEC windshield banner! According to Temple of VTEC, by strategically placing this element, your car that is Powered by Honda will yield an additional 10hp unless it is driven by Jensen Button.

i like the TSX, it is the japanese's Honda Accord fyi. rebadged to Acura in the states to seem more luxurious, great pick of a car, it will hold its value well. not a sports car by anymean, but definately a sports sedan.

Those cars are pretty sweet, I probably would have gone with a TL instead though. check out www.acurazine.com , they have some posts that are almost as hysterical as the ones on here

TSX (which is just a version of the Euro Accord, right?) is a very decent car. I'm sure it handles good for a FWD but lacks in the grunt department. You were looking for MPG so that should be a plus. Resale value will be good. I like the chiseled looks and interior of the '09 which looks less bland but I believe the 09's will be like 29 grand. Throw some 18" mesh wheels on it and it would be a very handsome car. Sounds like you made a sensible choice. Good luck.

Why is everyone flaming this guy?
My dad is driving a TSX as a company car, I drove it extensively, its a very very nice car. IMO I think its underpowered, but it still gets up and goes. I think theyre cool looking. Theyre in a different category as the RX8, its not a sports coupe. Its a mid-size sedan. So........everyone........lets compare the TSX to other mid-size sedans!!! Okay, I would take the TSX over the accord, Altima, and Ford Fusion also if I was looking for a luxury FWD to carry the fam......GOOD CHOICE. Have fun with it

it's an okay car, but in the end it's an accord (don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with accords - they're great unimaginative practical cars). as for the luxury of the acura symbol, i'm still waiting for a decent honda interior.
