For those who have used the OEM front mask, Im just wondering if anyone has experienced any kind of scratching from it. I am going to be driving the car back to AZ next month and would like to protect it as best I could. I dont want to do the 3M mask cause I just simply dont want to tape the car. Its not a daily driver so its not like it takes a lot of abuse from the road. I used to have a mask on my Trans Am and it scratched the **** out of it. Just dont want that to happen to this car. Thank you!

 

As long as the front of the car is free of dirt you should be fine. I use it during love-bug season because they're much easier to wipe off of the front mask than the paint. I also use it during autocross events to protect against the occasional cone that decides to jump out in front of me

 

Excellent, thanks for the input. The car will have a good bath before I go and once I get into AZ, it will be taken off until I drive back. I just wanted to make sure theres nothing that has enough movement to rub the paint off around the fasteners or something, thats where it did most of its damage on my T/A.
