Im new to this site and the world of RX8'S but am very tempted to buy a car i have seen.
It is a 2005 (55) plate Evolve.
It has recorded only 9000 miles on it.
Price- £6800

Now heres the dodgy bit
I did a vehicle check on it and the car was manufactured in 2005 but registered in 2008.
It has 3 previous owners the seller being the last one in May 1st 2010.

According to the check the car has the following
Colour changes There is no record of this registration being subject to a colour change.
Plate Transfer There is no record of this registration being involved in a plate transfer.
Scrapped There is no record of this registration being scrapped.
Exported There is no record of this registration being exported.
Stolen There is no record of this registration being stolen.
Stolen & Recovered There is no record of this registration being stolen & recovered.
Insurance Write-off There is no record of this registration being written-off.
Vehicle I.D. Check There is no record of this registration being subject to a Vehicle Identity Check.

We have the following mileages recorded for this registration:

• 7,000 miles recorded on 17 Dec 2009
• 1,000 miles recorded on 29 Oct 2008

My first thoughts where the car was imported but the report says no.

I would be very gratefull for your input on this as i would dearly love to own one but wish to steer clear of all duds!

 

I wouldn't buy it, just be patient another will come by
