RX8 engine into kit car

Firstly hello to everyone, as the heading suggests i am seriously considering fitting an RX8 231ps into my kit car and need a bit of advice, firstly is there a aftermarket stand alone ECU avaliable? and who makes it? second which cable operated throttle body can i use as the standard unit is fly by wire, if i need to i can use the original ECU and TB but it might be easier with a stand alone unit and different TB, finaly what is the weight of the RX8 engine, any advice is greatly appreciated.

Phil

The Diasio D962R is the closest thing to a Renesis powered 'Kit Car' I can think of. Many of your questions can be answered by looking over the specs of that car.

^^The Diasio isn't street legal; it's an A-class racer. I just grafted a new nose onto one here in my shop. But perhaps Chris will be able to help if RX Kit gives him a call.
