I love the car too. So far, I haven't had ANY of the problems I've seen listed on these boards. I don't even mind the gas mileage. IT BUGS THE HELL OUT OF MY WIFE THOUGH!! LOL :D

My 95 Z28 is a gas guzzler...and yes, my wife hates it too. Now, my point to her about the RX8 is:
1) It's a 4 door and it has a place for baby seats.
2) It gets better gas mileage than my Camaro.
Ding-Ding-Ding...I think we have a winner! :D
