Let me start by admitting I read the first page, then skipped to the last. Somehow, 5 pages of "Your too young, get another car" seemed a little monotonous. But on to my 2 cents...
Everyone seems to be assuming that you are buying a new 30k dollar car. You may very well be looking at a used 8. If so, good job. It is my unwaivering opinion that only people who are fairly well off should buy new cars. You lose around 30% of the value of your car the first year. Since you are 16, I can assume you do not fall into this group. And you have already said that you are basically spending your entire savings to get the car. You truely are better off buying something cheaper for now.
You are a responsible driver. Being "responsible" in comparison to your peers does not make you a responsible driver. It just makes you slightly more responsible than your friends. But no amount of level headed thinking can replace experience. I believe I fell into the more responsible than my friends catagory, but I still did some really stupid things I would not try now. (I'm 24 now) It's just the nature of youth. I have never wrecked a car. But I have come DAMN close. And most of those times were in my teens. Frankly, I just got f***ing lucky several times. That was just in my V6 Corssica. Can't imagine if I had been in an 8.
This car is not cheap. You already know insurance is gonna kill you. Just think how much you'll be paying if you do have an accident. You will most likely want to do some mods. There really aren't any cheap mods for this car. Gas is expensive, more so every day. And you will definately be driving alot. As much as you can fit into your day.
I won't say, "Don't buy this car, you're too young." But I will say, "If you're going to be paying for this car on your own after your parents initial help buying it, you probably can't afford this car." If you are determined to get it, and you'll be on your own to take care of it after your parents put up their half, think about co-signing on a loan with your parents. That way, you'll have some cash left to put into the car, and you'll be builing credit too. Trust me when I say it will help in the longrun. You won't have this car forever.

i agree, unless we go on about N64, or women making out, and in that case, mazdamaniac should get in here, his avatars are the best, but i always wonder if he actually takes those pics, or if he just gets them from the internet
