Ok, first I don't have a scanner. Second, buy or look in the magazine. Third, I looked on MT website and they don't have anything on it. I just wanted to mention it and if anyone has seen it.

They did have a short little blurb about the Kabura too. They claim (and we've heard the Mazda rep at the Detroit Auto Show confirm this) that the Kabura is supposed to be a ~$20k to test the waters in the first-time buyer market. I can almost guarentee it will NOT be the RX-8 replacement.

Mazda...get your head out your butt, that thing is ugly! It's like a upper class RX8 or something. A rotary for the "adult" sports car guy. It's doors open like a minivan and it seats 4 people.
I've heard the next version of the Renesis would power it, but then again there is no GREEN light that they will build it. I rather they spend time making the 8 better and building the Kabura their other concept.

the kabura is supposed to be ~20k and is definetly not going to take the place of the rx8...if they actually build it...no word for certain on that....and the cx-9 i don't believe is going to look like that....might be a longer version of the cx-7

The "RX-9" that is depicted in Motor Trend is actually the Mazda design concept "Senku" shown at the recent Tokyo Auto Show late last year.
There have been no known plans to produce this car, it is just a design exercise.
