What do you do?
I put one leg pad in the dip, the sticks on top through the center part, a pad in the back of the trunk, and then I shove the bag in the space left over.
I basically cram all my gear into my hockey bag (including legpads) and for some magically reason it fits into the trunk opening. On occasion, when taking out the bag, I have to take out one leg pad first, then take the bag out. It's kind of like playing tetris. As for the sticks, I put them diagonally across the backseat, with the blade in the footrest area. Oh also I wrap up the sticks in a sweater and towel, so I don't scratch or get the interior dirty.

I can get two average sized "carry bag" golf bags into my trunk as long as I remove the drivers first and put them in last.

But guitars don't fit.
