Actually I collect the entire Alternators line. The fact that they made a Transformer out of the car I own just makes it that much more special to me. I only responded with that comment because even though most people think my collection is cool, there are a few that just seem to get incredibly disgusted that I spend my money on toys. And no, I am not one of those collectors that says "oh, they're not toys, they're collectibles so it's okay for me to buy them". They are toys which are in my opinion cool, therefore I collect them. I just find it annoying when people respond as if there was something wrong with me for choosing to do so. If that was not your intent then I apologize for my snappy remark.

As for people who bought it solely because it was a toy of their car, why not? People buy posters and other accessories related to the cars or bikes they have because they're fans of the brand/model.

Peace.

I don't think spending the money is the thing.. Just seems immature. Do you play with them?

I keep them in a glass cabinet with half of them in car mode and the other half posed in robot mode. Every now and then I take a couple of them and switch the modes around so the display doesn't get boring. But no, I don't sit on the floor and have all out battles with them like I used to when I was a kid!
