I have an 04 SVT Focus and was curious if anyone here knows if the RX 8 seats(front) would bolt up to brackets in the SVT. The stock SVT seats blow.

I doubt it, on a GT optioned 8 the bolt patterns are not even the same ( drv / pass ). The attached photo is of a custom seat bracket I got from Wedge Engineering to install a Kirkey racing seat I use on track days. I think you can make out the where the boltholes are, does the holes on the SVT seat even come close?

 

I hope you aren't talking about the Recaros? I loved those seats!!!

 

Definately not talking about the Recaros out of the Euro edition. I've tried getting my hands on a set of those...nearly impossible.

on my flight to South Africa I noticed the plane seats on South African Airways were made by Recaro...interesting eh?

as for putting the seats in the SVT?

for G-d's sake they have rotary symbols in the seats...unless you've installed one of Dr. Wankel's children in your Fjord SVT then u should pass on this idea

 

the seats in armagedon on the spaceships were also made by recaro haha
