Hey guys. I'm finally biting the bullet and getting rid of my '05 RX-8. I know there will be questions asked about why I'm getting rid of a car I love so much, so I'll answer that right now. I'm getting married later this year and I have plans of buying a house soon too, so a $400 car payment and gas and insurance just isn't in the budget anymore. Anyways, the car is Velocity Red, 6 speed manual tranny, 25,000 miles on the odometer. Not a dent anywhere on the car. The interior is black and charcoal cloth. Also flawless. I performed the recommended break-in on the car for the first 1,000 miles and 3,000 mile oil changes so you know the engine has been taken care of. I have it listed on craigslist if you want some pics of it. My contact info is on there too. Located in north county, San Diego, Ca. Thanks a lot.

I'm not sure what the prices out in cali are but I got a dealer down my neck of the woods selling an 05 red GT , everything but nav, 16K miles for 18,000.

I got my 06 with 0 miles on it for 23k out the door. I only have 7.5k miles on it and I'm pretty sure I couldnt get more then 18k for it, if that.

Keep the car, wait for the housing market to cool. Sub-prime problems in US. Foreclosures on the rise. What you save on a property in San Diego by waiting will pay for your car 3 times over.......
