aren't tow hooks sort of rice? I see them on civics all over the place and think they look rediculous.

Does the deluxe package include a "shocker" sticker too?

Sorry, driving around with a tow hook in is best left to primered civics. JDM, yo!

^ This. I would like to see the stress analysis of the tow hook in CAD first. I am sure it is available.

Knowing the size of the ring would be useful too. Real tow hooks are rather big.

What's the hook screwed into in the bottom pic - the one where it's at the top corner of the grill?

i highly suggest that you release a release of liability with this. Considering tow hooks are generally classified as a safety device vs a cosmetic modification, the last thing you want is for someone to buy it .. have the product fail during standard use ... and get a phone call from the guys in suits.

Are they really a safety device? I thought they were a convenience so track crews had something they could easily hook up to.

Which makes the idea of tow hooks on primered Civics, as RadRedR3 suggests, kind of silly. If one of those winds up in the ditch, a fork lift or excavator will do.

It screws into the stock tow hook location in the grill.

That's a tiedown point, not a tow point.
