Did I miss something? When was the Civic Si ever faster than an RX-8, in ANY test of "fastness"?

What color Fit? Hopefully not that orange.
Definitely that orange. I like bright colors. I almost bought a yellow 8, but couldn't find one with cloth. My previous car (an MR2) was yellow. ORANGE POWAH!

I like the orange, though they are a bit hard to find. My cousin wants one, but hasn't found one yet.

hey how much are Fit going for where you live? around here (northern VA) dealers are actually asking straight sticker, kinda ridiculous considering regular Civics are being sold for about the same price after discounts!

Southern CA here. Dealers are all asking about 1-2k over sticker, but cave pretty quickly down to straight MSRP when you press them on it. The new Civics are even more marked up, especially the hybrid one.

I agree with you about the 5th and 6th gear. I sold my 3rd Gen RX-7 for my 8 and at 80 mph in the 7 it felt good at 2700 rpm, but I keep grabing for another gear in the 8. It actually really bothers me. At 80 mph in the 8 it sits at nearly 4000 rmp.

Other than that and the gas, this car is great.
