Which RX-8 Model Is Better To Costumize??

I was thinking about buying an RX-8 and there are 3 models Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring, and the Grand Touring seems to be the nicest to customize because it has moonroof, leather seats, and whole bunch of other features, but some people think its the heaviest, but it has the same horsepower as the other two... so im wondering which one is supposedly the best to customize, and why?

The only one that would weight more is the one with the moonroof...but unless you're trying to set a land speed record that weight isn't going to be noticable. Oh and it has less headroom...so if you're tall I'd suggest you not get one :p

Really the only difference between the models from what I can tell is just the looks/creature features you get.

Sport provides HID's and some appearance things, Touring editions just make the inside more comfy...As far as mod-ability and horsepower and things like that go, from base model up to shinka (top model) there isn't that much of a difference at all in terms of performance...

Costumize? Like dressing it up like a witch for Halloween? I'd suggest a Copper Red Shinka.

I'd say the most important thing would be if you want a sun roof or not... if I remember correctly, aftermarket sun roofs are not a great idea.

get the base model. for what you save in paying for the GT package you can get the seats reupholestered in better leather.

base model is the fastest. also called "stripper model." its because its the fastest, you commonly see people in base models with girls that probably could be strippers in the passenger seeat.

Go touring, You get the sunroof and electronic stability control that you wouldn't get in the sport.

Course, the sport saves you money for mods.

I'd really like to see the numbers of the GT variant on the scales, justo to see the true difference.
