RX-8 Ground Clearance

QUESTION 1
Is there any possibility of 'lowering' the RX a couple of inches closer to the ground?

QUESTION 2
What are the PROS and CONS of making this kind of modification to it?

Pros: It will look 'slammed.'

Cons: The Mazda engineers (you know, the guys that built the car) probably had it that height for a reason, and those who 'know better' may in the end, suffer.

I don't see how going much lower will help you as it's already pulling .91 on the skidpad; I'll tell you this much, my Millenia is STOCK height and it's still so low that I have to go over speedbumps and up driveways VERY slowly in order not to scrape the bottom of my car off. Lower the RX-8, you'll likely do more than scrape it.

It's already very low as it is.

Personaly lowering a car only causes problems. Especialy here in the UK with 100's of speed bumps around ready to trash your baby.
