I was talking to my dealer a bit earlier and he had a bit of interesting news to tell me. I have been waiting for a while for them to get a "test drive" only car. My dealer said they recieved it about a week ago only there was a small hitch. It had a 5 speed manual transmission in it like the low power European version. Wierd little mix up there. Plus I have no reason to believe the dealer made it up b/c whats the point? So they are getting it switched with a 6mt. Untill then they are offering short test drives in thier other cars. Perhaps I finally get to drive the 8 this weekend!

On a side note:
The reason I was talking to my dealer is so I could get my VIN (Hooray, now I actually have a real car and not just an order form.) I needed the VIN for my free maintenance letter that I finally recieved today. I had to call mazda again and have it faxed to my work since the first one mysteriously got lost in the mail. Just a reminder since I noticed a couple of people mentioning they haven't recieved thier letter yet... It is due October 1st!
