RX-8 = Paid off!

Hi Everybody,

I'm not nearly as active here as I was back on the RX-7 Forums (real life has taken over; Job, House, Wife, Kid, etc.) but I just wanted to share that yesterday, on my 2 year anniversary of taking my RX-8 home, I wrote the final check to the bank to pay it off, so it will truly become "mine". My wife and I will hopefully be able to go a few years now with no car payments as her car and my truck were paid off in the past few years.

My 8 is bone stock, and going to stay that way, but to celebrate I'll likely give her a nice bath and detail the interior.

I have personally put 20,000 miles on it in the past two years, and look forward to many, many more.

Stay in school kids, and save your money... financial independence is pretty great!

Cheers!

Congratulations to you! On mine, i bought the rx8 on April of 2007 with a 6-year payment plan, and i'm happy to say that next month would be the last payment!!!

Well done, it's a great buzz. I'm keeping mine stock too (at least I think so) maybe it's a sign of age??? I noticed the bike in your list, the RX 8 feels the closest I've had to riding a bike, love the feel. Again, Congrats.

It's a good feeling to pay off a car. The financial freedom is a great feeling. Paid mine off in December after 5 long years of payments, a year and a half of which the car wasn't even running haha. That part felt like torture!
