report on Pearl White + camphone pics
I was at Menlo Mazda today in Redwood City, CA -- about to buy an 04 Tit Gray 6-GT, but thought I'd report that I saw the Pearl White and I wasn't that impressed.
I have a Pearl White car now, and I thought the pearlescence chips weren't as pronounced as I would have hoped -- nowhere near as neat as the V Red or N Greens right next to it.
Unfortunately, I only had my camera phone -- here's two not-too-good-quality pics of the white....

It's hard for me to judge the white form pictures alone. My neighbor has a 2000 Millenia that is an absolutely gorgeous pearl white. If the rx8 is anything like the white on the Millenia, I know I'd love it. I'm not sure if that's the identical color they had on the millenia, or if it's a knock off. I'd have to see A White RX8 in the bright sunlight before I judged it.

I saw one when I went to pick up my car cover last week. Pretty, but I wasn't that impressed either. I'm very happy with my Titanium 8. One month today of ownership, and I'm still lovin' life every time I get behind the wheel.

I ended up following/racing one around San Diego the other day. The guy couldn'ta had it more than a few days. Looked good, but in the somewhat hazy sunlight I couldn't distinguish Pearl white from any other white I've seen. Maybe in bright sunlight you can tell...

After looking at that picture of the white RX8 it reminded my of my 2002 Mazda Millenia. I bought the one with the Pearl White and thesparkle thats in the RX8's paint job reminded me of it because the Pearl White had that very bright Sparkle in it too. But I paid more than 200 for the white! $380 to be exact! I loved the car but got rid of it for the RX8. Much better deal! LOL

Stuck in a love triangle
There were 3 fresh pearlwhite Rx8s at my localdealership today that werealready out on the lot and twowere already for sale. One of them thatcaught my eye was a GT w/red leather interior and looked really nice. It was an automatic though so itprobably will be there for a while. Theyve increased the price of 2005 Rx8s by 5% forsome unknown reason. I guessthe extra 5% covers the cost of the new key fob whichI forgot to ask themto show me. Whilethe white Rx8s were very attractive cars--they probably wont look thatgreat once they get dirty. Alsothere was a freshly waxed Titanium Rx8 parked rightnext to them whichis the same color as my car and to be honest -- a cleaned up Titanium still out does white by far in my opinion.

Bought the Snowflake Pearl White, looks sharp, clean and classy; car lines show very well in daylight. Receiving neck breaking stares and many approach to comment they love the color. Must see in person to appreciate, pics don't do it justice!
