After an exhaustive search that solved nothing, I want to know if I can replace my PCM with a later build date unit.
I have a early 05 car built in sept 04 and don't have the delayed trunk release timing.
After a VIN break it was incorporated, can I change my unit to get this function?

I would think that feature is a software flash type upgrade, and likely effects the keyless security module. You would likely have to upgrade both if it won't work on the 04 ECU

I seem to remember that using the 05 switchblade key came with the delay...so it might be as easy as having a new transmitter??
