Taking my 8 in for the recall tommorow, air bag and transmission shield or whatever. Have you guys been getting a rental car when you bring in your cars? More importantly have you had to foot the bill?

I took my car in for the recalls yesterday. They game me a Ford Focus free of charge.

 

i got a mazda 6 for free

 

For me, I got a rental car with no questions asked but I did have to schedule an appointment in advance. In my recall notice, it says "As a reminder, your Mazda Driver's Assurance Plan provides alternate transportation ... for warranty repair". This doesn't guarantee a rental car but in most cases you'll probably get one. It also says "Ask your dealer ... Mazda Rental Car Reimbursement Program".

Oh yea I almost forgot. No you don't foot the bill if it's the recall stuff or TSB related. I think the dealer charges Mazda so that's how they get paid.

 

I got a Mazda 6 loaner from the dealer when I took my car in for the dealer installed accessories.

 

I got a Lincoln LS V8! te he he... all their other cars were already out and that's all that was left... Gotta love Hertz!

All depends on your dealership.

Some dealerships offering loaners to customers who bought/leased cars through them if they have loaners available. Some don't.

Most dealers, however, will not offer a loaner to a customer who did not buy/lease through them.

To be sure, call ahead, ask and, if necessary or possible, reserve a loaner.

have not been in for service yet but the deralership promised me another 8 to drive anytime they have to keep my car overnight zooom zoooom

 

i turned my 8 in for warranty repair yesterday and got stinkin cavalier. they covered rental fees, but i pay for gas and if i opted for insurance and other fees (which i turned down)
