Why would someone part out a NEW RX-8 with only 90 miles on it? Are these people for real?

Couldn't they take some OLD ("pre-owned" :D ) car's body for that???

The auction is only for the Renesis engine. The buy it now price is $4750. That is only a slight discount under buying a new one from Mazda.

 

The could have bought the shell of the car for $5700.00 from mazda instead of buying the entire car.
