Removing back seats for Subwoofer

Question Removing back seats for Subwoofer

has anyone had any success in removing the backseats to put the subwoofer in the trunk?

yes you can remove the seats. no, you don't need to do this for a sub in the trunk..

I was also thinking about removing my backseats just take off a little bit of weight. The only issue I had was that I did not know what to put there. Maybe just for trunk space I suppose. A sub would be nice too. Or just put a roll cage back there since I'm always driving like a mad man.

they are remarkably light weight.. that said, you could continue the auto carpet like the gt3s do

It's impossible to fit a sub in the trunk of an 8.

Please go and read the audio stickies. It's hard to be polite to those who refuse to do even basic research. I don't know how many times I've already answered this question seriously in the audio forum.

There are plenty of ways to put a sub in your trunk. The only reason to remove seats to do it is to run wires back there. There are detailed DIY's to remove the seats and wire a sub too, if you care to, you know, look for them.

I have 2 10" subs in a box and it fits Perfectly in the "indented back" space in the rear(toward the front of the car) of the trunk...
