Red Calipers

Hi,

I want to paint my RX8's brake calipers Red... I saw in one of the sites that an RX8 had Red calipers with "RX-8" etched on it... Do you guys have any idea where to get such cosmetic products and how...?

Also, is this a tough thing to 'install' them?

Thanks...

I got the dupli color caliper paint withstands temps up to 500deg F and is only cost about 17 bucks for cleaner and a small can of paint, comes with a brush and mixer also :D. Came out beautiful I have no regrets.

For all you duplicolor users, I hope you live somewhere warm. I used duplicolor and it worked great throughout the whole summer, but come winter it started chipping like crazy. I ended up re-doing the whole thing this year using another paint. It held up very good in the heat but I think the cold beats it to hell. I have heard of lots of duplicolor users reporting the same thing in colder states...

Good luck

I used duplicolor and G2.

It's really worth the extra $10 to get the G2. I got it off ebay for $26.

Also, buy some sandpaper attachments for a hand drill, and use it to sand down the calipers before painting. It helps if you make them smooth.
