OK, not really, but I've been informed my new 2006 white Shinka will be at the dealership Monday for pick up.

This is the first time in my life I've wanted to fast-forward through a weekend to get to monday!

But I ordered it in November and have been dying to drive it ever since. Last night, I dreamt about driving the car and woke up with a huge smile on my face knowing that the dream will be reality in three days.

My wife is so fed up. She said she knows if the car were a woman, I'd be divorcing her for it.

I told her that's crazy talk, but secretely, I think she might be right

White Shinka?

 

Ha! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a wife that thinks like that. When I finally parked my 8 in the garage for the the first time, I think my wife was actually jealous of her. What tipped me off was that look she gave me as I gently caressed the car.

Yah, the 2006 Shinkas come in several colors - copper red, titanium gray and (I think I have this right) snowflake whitewater pearl, or as I call it, white.

 

Well, what did she expect? That you were going to plunk oodles of money down on a car that was 'ho-hum'? Whatever you do, do not explain to her that the car is likely to cost more than her wedding ring that she's wearing and the whole she-bang celebration...

 

It'll be worth the wait....

 

now that i think of it. white with shinka leather would make the car really classy.

ok never mind, i just did a quick "build my car" on mazdausa and you can actually get a white 8 with the shinka package...pretty tight i may add.
