Ram Air installation, ran into problem. Need help.
As most of you know, I am installing a ram air duct in my bumper (like Deedub/ VS8/ Etc). Well I removed the front bumper to take off the 'hose piece' and Im having trouble taking it off. There also seems to be a sensor maybe attached to it. I honestly just thought it was a hose and figured it would be easy to take off, didnt realize it was going to be this difficult.
I attempted to remove it as youll be able to tell from the pic but no luck
Please see the pic so you can understand what I am talking about, I circled the piece in Red and the 'sensor' in yellow.
Is this piece okay to be removed and if so what do I do with the piece circled in yellow.

its the yellow cap ... don't remember the size but i think they are color coded... I put in my rb air ram a little while back.
I removed all of the lines back to the manifold and capped it there. You don't have to take off the bumper reenforcement.. it fits with some pressure if you are using the rb as well.

those types of things but you're probably going to need something a bit smaller than 1/4''.. get to it and feel it.. you'll know then.

Okay, just got back from my garage, got it all out. lol, I know I sound like a tool but I dont have a friggin light and my garage light isnt that bright, I cant see that well in my engine bay. Anyone got a pic of where this line ends to make my life a tiny bit easier..?
Also, will there be any side effects to the absense of this vac line? Cel, idling issues?

It'll work there.... really anywhere you cap it is fine. If you want to clean it up some go all the way to the bank of solenoids that are under the intake manfold on the oil fill plastic piece. Along with the one that runs to the bottom of the intake manifold.
