I believe some Florida 8 owners will probably wish you harm at some point.

You like it in the rain or for the excuse of spinning around?

Just don't get any cels while your playing. Can just see the next visit to the dealer. Engine rpm 9000, 2nd gear, road speed 10 mph, lateral acceleration .8g, warranty voided

I figured this would be about the "water dance" on the hood. I just love that blob of water that runs up the "rotary groove" in the hood, and stops and grows right at the top edge of the hood - and jiggles and wiggles like Jello in the wind at highway speed.

Haha, I did the same thing today. I'm in Palmdale, so I guess we were experiencing the same storm. I went to an abandoned Boeing parking lot out here to play around, and man was it fun!

I saw them for the first time yesterday. In Silicon Valley it usually doesn't rain between April and October but we got a really early rain storm yesterday. These were pretty neat - they were balancing at different points in the groove depending on the road speed (balanced between gravity pulling them down and the wind pushing them up). At about 70 mph they were maybe 5" from the top of the groove. Hmmm, how fast would you have to go to make them shoot out the top?

Nah. I got a CEL at the track couple weeks ago. When Mazda checked it out, they said, "Um, you got this random misfire while you were at 7500 rpm and 82 mph?"

Oops. "Um, yeah I was out squirreling around a bit..." :o
