Quick Question, How much would my 8 be worth?

I have a '04 Black Mazda RX-8 which I'm looking to get rid of.. it has 45,000 miles on it and I'm trying to see if anyone can recommend a decent price to ask for...

It's fully loaded, black & red leather interior, sports kit, sunroof, flip up navigation, taken good care of. I did install aftermarket rims.

What do you think a decent price to ask for my car would be?

Thanks

It's worth what someone will pay for it. The rims are worth nothing unless the prospective buyer thinks they are worth extra to pay for. The used car guides will give you nothing extra for the rims. Autotrader.com has some really nice search features now that will let you search specifically for 2004 RX-8's within x number of miles of your local zip code. Check them out and see what others are asking for similar cars. You can look up the value online but that's not worth as much as it used to be.

I thought about selling mine recently. I paid 13.5 for it a year and a half ago and I think that was a fair to good price for it. I've only put 9k miles on it and would be happy to get 12k for it in my area, in this economy. I'd say anything between 10 and 11k would be decent for yours but you might find you can get more where you live.

Yours is pretty low mileage, and I considered that heavily when shopping for mine. I'd also compare prices to 05s with about 75k.

I've spent about 3 months trying to find a good 04 - 06...so, I've looked at a bunch...

If your car was on a dealer lot, I would expect it to have a tag of 10 to 12....and I would probably bite if they got in the 10 - 11 range.

Your mileage is very good...the rims wouldn't do anything for me because I am looking for a stock ride...I would actually look to change them back to factory eventuallly...I realize that is just my preference, but...

And, I live in WV and have been looking at cars here and in neighboring states.

If it wasn't black.......

Autotrader has dozens of 2004 RX-8's with less than 75K mi. for less than $10K. There are even a handful with ~40K miles for under $8K. I'd say $7.5K is you really wanted to move it.
