does the '04 (non bose) have a 6 disc changer port in the back. also can the '04 put text on the radio

does anyone have a preference about what brand of adapter i should use DICE, Neocar, Audio access? are any of them easier to install or last longer or anything like that i would like a Aux port also. but i want steering wheel control and if possible i would like to have text on the screen if possible. Thx

 

The non bose does not have a 6 disc changer. Just for future reference you will get better responses in the interior, audio section. I don't believe there is anyway to get the text on the stock radio. There are some good aftermarket options that would get you the text and the aux input. Search the forum if you want to stay stock with the input. I read a diy about adding the aux input but since I wasn't planning on doing it soon I didn't read thoroughly. A quick search should bring it up though

 

I did this diy mentioned above. Best ten dollars and 3 hours I've ever spent on this car.

XCarLink is the best. One of the only ones I can find that charges the iPod while connected. My model also has a standard MP3 input. Works with the 6-disc changer beautifully, not sure about the single disc player.
