WI Questions I Should ask the dealer before buying a used RX-8?

Hi,

I'm in the market for a new car, and have likely decided to buy an RX-8. Specifically, at 2006 Mazda Rx-8 with 22k miles. Car is in great shape, and the price is pretty good to boot.
> I'd love to get a 2009+ Rx-8, but I can pay for the 2k6 all in cash and walk away with no car payment (too hard to resist )

I'm going to test drive it today, but I was wondering from long term RX-8 owners - What are the right questions to ask the dealership before buying this car (price, warranty, etc...aside)? I've got the Car Fax (it was free) but is there anything else worth asking that wouldn't be obvious?

I've done quite a bit of research on the car, do know about the problems the 2k4-2k6 models had, know about the need to redline occasionally to remove carbon build-up, the need to check oil every two fill-ups and most of the other traits specific to the car. It's a car I think I can comfortably handle.

But I figured some of you might have better insight. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

You should ask, after something breaks, will you fix it for free?

Can i get the car for free? lol

Anyway, ask them to extend your warranty or double it to 6 years because of too many issues about the car. Engine is already 8 yrs or 100,000 miles whichever comes first. I don't know, but try it, probably they might do it for you just to get a sale out of you. Good luck.
