Looks like it sat for long periods of time. May have been drained down multiple times. So then the next question woulf be consequences of sitting and possibly not being run till warm enough... Others?

Not only sat around, but moved around a ton as well, you can see a few times it was auctioned off to other dealerships. Again this is common practice amongst used cars, but you have to wonder how many actual "drivers" the car had.

The 15 different dealerships probably flooded it and replaced the battery to fix it or something lol. I'm thinking if you really want it you should go take it for a drive and read around about what to look for during the test drive.

Good luck with your decision!

At least, what was said already, it's just the batteries. If it's the engine or if it's been replaced, then you have a problem.

Hey , the battery problem is because it sat so much. I have a 2008 40th anniversary edition RX8 with only 13,000 miles on it AND a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 GT. The RX8 sat for long periods and most of the winter, and the battery drained down and after charging it up a few times,Mazda replaced it under warranty. The alarm system and clock will drain an RX8 battery if it is not driven much. This vehicle sat on lots and such, I am not surprised they replaced the battery twice.

This would not be a red flag at all here, I know from experience.

Yes, I'm sure you will be able to fool the dealership. They will probably knock off $2,000 because of the multiple battery replacements.....then charge you 15.99% interest.

Not sure that I have ever seen a red 8 with that color leather.
