Question on exhaust

I know this has been posted a million times but my question is does anyone have a exhaust or can recommend one that will not break the bank. Borla is going for 1,0000 dollars. I have seen some for 450 or 500 so just looking to get some info on ones that you guys might have and only cost you in that price range thanks.

Buy a used one if price is a concern.

1.Check the for sale section, and with the vendors here for pricing.
2. Find what you can afford.
3. Search the boards for reviews and youtube for sound clips.
4.Buy exhaust that you like.

There is plenty of feedback available all over the place here on pretty much every exhaust out there.

Does anyone know the diameter of the exhaust piping on a 2005 RX8? I've thought about putting a custom exhaust on my car as well (and prob an intake too). I know I won't gain much HP however it will prob sound nice.
I was just wondering how big the piping is. If I do an exhaust is it even worth it to change out all the piping (cat-back) or just to put a new muffler on.

Any insight would be helpful, thanks.

stock is 2.5"
3" gets you better flow. It's recommended to go 3" if you ever decide to go FI
