Just saying hi!

Just wanted to say hi. I just bought an RX8 from a coworker. Red 2004 with only 32k miles. He kept it in great shape and it's only had two owners. Love the forum, just wanted to say hi!

Welcome to the forum, mine had that many miles when I bought it. There are tons of info in here if you ever need help. Oh and of course pics or it doesn't exist.

Here are some more, got them to work. It came with a set of all black rims with red gorilla lug nuts. Getting snow tires put on it tomorrow, saving the black rims for better weather

Looks good! Not a fan of the vinyl but as long as you like it that's what matters. Congrats!

As for the warranty, I bought a 5 year, 60,000 mile warranty just in case. As for the vinyl (guessing you mean the decal? I'm just now getting into cars myself) I really like it so far. I had thought about taking it off, but it feels like it really sets it apart. I probably wouldn't have picked that myself. For now, I love it

Ha ha, yes it was not clearly visible. We'll have to wait until the weather gets better to see the car with the black rims I guess ha ha.

Definitely agree the door handles need to be changed out. Was also going to buy a kit and paint the calipers come spring or so, probably black. Undecided on how red would look.

I have red calipers on my car and i like them, some people think they are too flashy and prefer black. really is just personal preference.

edit: here is an old pic to give you an idea

Red on red looks good imo, it might look flashy with other colors but I think it looks good on the VR...
